It certainly appears that the Israelis are doing everything they can to chip away at their enemies’ capabilities for trouble making. If they do end up attacking iran’s nuke sites, this is probably part of their prep work to make sure any terrorist responses are lessened due to reduced capabilities.

I would hardly describe Richard Silverstein with the benign phrase “US Blogger”. “Virulently anti-Israel blogger” would be more accurate.
Note, for example, here is part of Silverstein’s post that ynet did not bother to quote:

At any rate, as soldiers, even brilliant ones, often do, Hezbollah made a fatal error which the IDF exploited.

This is a man who equates Hizb-allah’s terrorists and non-uniformed militia (which is, itself, a violation of the laws of war) with soldiers, even “brilliant ones.”
Silverstein is not a knowledgeable resource on matters concerning what Israel’s intelligence agencies are doing so much as someone who parrots any anti-Israel accusation. Why Ynet has been treating him differently lately is, frankly, a mystery.
